About the Role
Monks is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud computing, networking, security, and enterprise architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-sales support and deal stage acceleration (Technical Requirements gathering, Architecture Designs and concepts, Client technology impact assessments, Solution designs, ROI and Value Impact)
- Working closely with Sales, Delivery and Channel partners to move clients through our deal funnel.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Lead infrastructure architecture design, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps and modernization strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
- Work with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Oversee network, storage, and computing architecture planning.
- Establish security best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical leadership.
- Document architecture designs, standards, and best practices.
About You
The essentials:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) both native and hybrid cloud solutions and migration strategies from on prem to cloud for various enterprise applications and functions.
- Expertise in networking, virtualization, and storage technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible or Temporal..
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with IT security frameworks and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or TOGAF are a plus.
