The Accounting and FP&A Supervisor will be responsible for preparing financial reports in compliance with IFRS regulations, analyzing financial status, and ensuring accurate accounting information. This role involves overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll accounting, as well as researching and drafting accounting policies and procedures. Additionally, the supervisor will support audits, tax compliance, and system deployment while fulfilling other assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, possess advanced English proficiency, and demonstrate hands-on commitment with a strong sense of urgency. Desirable qualifications include a CPA license, experience with Netsuite ERP, and knowledge of Brazilian direct and indirect taxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with IFRS regulations.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all accounting information provided.
  • Prepare general accounting journal entries and maintain balance sheets and account reconciliations.
  • Review payroll accounting.
  • Research and analyze technical accounting matters, including the impact of new accounting regulations, to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Draft and maintain accounting principles, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Support internal and external audits, including tax audits.
  • Perform fixed asset controls and preparation of tax returns (ECD and ECF).
  • Support deployment/parametrization of systems.
  • Perform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
  • Supervise other accounting roles under your charge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • Advanced English level (both oral and written).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
  • CPA license (CRC) required.
  • Hands-on profile with a commitment to meeting deadlines and a sense of urgency.
  • Desirable previous experience using Netsuite ERP.
  • Desirable good knowledge of local direct taxes and some indirect taxes.
