About the Role
In this full-time position you will collaborate with in-house colorists, VFX artists, and sound designers to craft outstanding work for prestigious brands.
Your work will encompass a wide range of projects, including impactful hero films and various adaptations targeting specific audiences. In some projects you will adapt existing materials into various versions and cutdowns, breathing new life and meaning into previously created content. In others you will transform raw footage into exceptional edits that not only realize the original creative vision but elevate it to new heights beyond what they ever envisioned.
Additionally, you will utilize basic animation and design skills to finalize videos before they go live. Your input will also be instrumental in producing case videos that highlight the core essence of our projects.
As part of .monks, you will be joining a dynamic creative production company recognized globally, operating as ‘one office in eleven locations’ with a talented in-house team of over 600 Monks worldwide.
About You:
You are a proactive editor and a team player, ready to go above and beyond to craft award-winning content. With 5+ years of experience in editing short format projects, your portfolio showcases work that can effectively engage clients.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in editing.
- Strong ability to create precise edits for TVCs and other linear formats.
- Experience working with Ai tools.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, with a solid understanding of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator..
- Capable of managing animations, designs, and transition effects.
- Experienced in the end-to-end editing process, ensuring seamless delivery of online edits.
- Solid understanding of the production workflow, ensuring edits fit smoothly into the pipeline.
- Basic understanding of color grading to enhance edits for client reviews.
- Experience in rendering for TV and web platforms and familiarity with compositing software.
- An organized, detail-oriented, and proactive team member, adept at building relationships with clients and working independently with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in post-production.
- Proficient in post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, ProTools).
- Understanding of post-production workflows, including audio and visual editing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Asana for tracking project progress.
Requirements
- We are seeking an individual with relevant experience and a minimum of 3 years in the post-production field.
- Post Production Expertise: Knowledgeable about producing and planning post and sound projects.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of technical aspects to identify and assist with potential planning and production issues.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of the English language.
- Advisory Skills: Ability to provide insights on various post-production and sound matters.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or similar.
