Monks is looking for a 3D Generalist with knowledge of modeling, lighting and shading to join our ever-growing team in Buenos Aires. In this role, you will work on demanding CGI projects for premium customers with the highest demands on quality and aesthetics. Our ideal candidate is characterized by an great eye for details and by their knowledge of Maya, 3D Max, or Cinema
Requirements
- You can work in various steps of the 3d vfx pipeline. Modeling, texturing, shading, lighting and rendering.
- Basic 3D animation skills are a plus.
- Ensure and maintain the expected visual quality and render time across projects.
- Receive feedback from directors, leads and clients and apply necessary corrections, as many times as required.
- Collaborate with the compositing team to establish an efficient framework for both lighting and compositing.
- Assure the best visual and technical quality of your created assets before handover to our comp department.
- Working together with a growing number of dedicated and highly motivated CG Artists.

Background & Skills
- You have at least 2 years experience ideally in the advertising industry.
- You have good knowledge of 3D packages such as Maya, 3D Max, or Cinema
- You are used to working with complex CGI pipelines.
- You are characterized by your great interest in high-quality visualizations.
- You are an independent and structured worker.
- You have some basic knowledge of Compositing tools (After FX, Nuke).
- Fluent in English.
- Working experience in the VFX industry
- If you are also familiar with CGI pipelines and can work independently in a structured way, you should definitely introduce yourself to us.
- Automotive projects experience is a plus!
