About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dutch speaking Account Director to lead and manage the execution of campaigns and projects with the government team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns for government and semi government clients. Additionally, you will drive strategic business growth for existing clients and also by tenders, identify opportunities for revenue expansion, and provide leadership to project teams to ensure operational excellence. *Dutch speaking is a must for this role*
Responsibilities:
- Build and launch marketing campaigns across desktop, mobile, and app platforms based on client briefs.
- Track and manage delivery dates for campaign components, ensuring all elements are completed and approved.
- Review campaigns for compliance with guidelines and resolve any conflicts.
- Maintain a master calendar of all marketing campaigns and manage shifting project priorities and timelines.
- Communicate updates and changes proactively across teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Support risk mitigation strategies and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
- Serve as the main lead and point-of-contact for clients on select projects.
- Collaborate with account leadership to plan and execute marketing programs, ensuring deliverables meet client specifications.
- Write creative briefs, manage project trackers, and prepare budget estimates.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for clients, ensuring alignment with their needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Submitting tenders in procurement processes where diligence is key.
- Identify new business opportunities and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire project teams to enhance performance and deliver exceptional results.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure seamless coordination between different business units to maximize operational efficiency.
About You:
The Essentials:
- Fluent in Dutch
- 6+ years of experience in project management, account management, or business leadership, ideally within advertising.
- Proven track record of managing marketing campaigns, with an understanding of performance metrics.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in both Dutch and English.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong client relationships.
- Proficient in inventory management and tracking budgets and invoices.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
